Pastoral living graced with a silver stream
What was once a rubber plantation is now being transformed into a food forest and farm. The transformation is an ongoing process where the soil which was – over the years of mono culture – degraded, is being regenerated to its full life and vigour.
We hope Saarang will serve as a model for agricultural practices across the globe where soil erosion and landslides are prevented, soil fertility is enhanced and crop output is boosted while preserving the natural environment and biodiversity around.
